Moitree train: Friendship Bridge with the foes?

Indian media terms the so-called ‘Moitree Train’ as ‘Friendship Bridge,’ that started plying between Dhaka and Kolkata on Pahela Boishak, February 14, 2008 between India and Bangladesh. But for obvious reasons Indian media did not explain how India is a friend of Bangladesh. Those who claim or preach that a friendly relation between India and Bangladesh prevails, they only lie and bury the
truth.

India helped our liberation

war for India’s interest.

What language, Pinak Ranjan Chokrabartee, the Indian High
Commission in Bangladesh, who has already been branded by some
analysts as Indian Governor in Bangladesh, for his naked and direct
dictation to Bangladesh, should use condemning Indian plunder in
Bangladesh in 1971?

'Natun Bangla’ slogan: A tool to put pressure on Bangladesh.

To get more concessions, including corridor through Bangladesh to
connect its seven States of Eastern Asia (whom India brands as
Northeast India) and privileges of Chittagong Seaport, India
government and its intelligence agency floated another pressure
group in India that openly demanded to create a new country
named ‘Natun (New) Bangla’ inside Bangladesh for the Indian
Bengalee Hindus.

Is Dhaka turning into Delhi's client state?

Much of the latest diplomatic dancing of the Caretaker Government (CG) is out of tune with the music the nation wants it to follow. Dealings with the USA and India in particular have become too controversial as the government is only giving away too much without taking anything substantive in return.

Trans-Asian Railway & The Corridor Lobby
Sadeq Khan

A virtual campaign of disinformation, predudicial opinion-peddling and persuasion is going on over the refusal of Bangladesh to join the Asian Highway Network in its current formation. Bangladesh has recently signed the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Trans-Asian Railway Network after completion of due process.

Building good neighborly relations: Bangladesh perspective

The secular elite, not to speak of the nationalists, in Bangladesh often get confused why Indian leaders make statements that throw their friends in Bangladesh in difficult situation. They are perplexed. They are confused what to do in the face India’s shameless behavior that tantamount to interference in the internal affairs of sovereign Bangladesh. The elite in Bangladesh found it difficult to defend Indian’s brazen dictation on Bangladesh. The freedom loving people of Bangladesh, irrespective of shades of opinion, are not really ready to tolerate any foreign dictation, even if it is India that helped Bangladesh in the liberation war.
